Price Lake Trail (Milepost 297.2) Professional Review and Guide
"A great lakeside loop circles the Parkway’s largest body of water. An out-and-back walk here is Price Park’s second TRACK Trail for hikers (the other is nearby at the start of the Boone Fork Trail from Price Park Picnic Area, Milepost 296.4). Bring, or rent, a boat. The first ever paddler’s TRACK Trail follows the lakeshore. Both the walking and water brochures are scavenger hunts, and beaver activity is seen on both trails. Visit kidsinparks.com/price-lake.Price Lake is a memorable walk, in part through the lakeshore Loop A of Price Lake Campground—easily one of the premier places on the Parkway to set up a tent. Leave the southern end of the Lake View Overlook by the trail map sign and descend a wheelchair-accessible ramp behind the boat rentals (the start of both TRACK Trails)."
