Spencer Branch

Spencer Branch Professional Review and Guide

"This is a great ride for someone looking to do some spinning and have some technical fun without spending all day or working all that hard. It’s also a perfect trail to give novice riders a chance to acclimate themselves to the wonders of singletrack.

The Never-Ending Road is an easy up and down for a nice long warm-up, then Spencer Branch offers up a splendid lunch of buff, tech 1+ track sprinkled with some respectable technical challenges. The track can also be ridden as part of a loop linking the Fletcher Creek, Spencer Branch, and Middle Fork Trails. Tread: 2 miles of singletrack; 6.2 miles of gravel Forest Service road."

"With relatively few hills, this ride is jazzed up by some rather technical creek crossings and narrow hillside trails. Expect to get muddy on this one, especially after wet weather. The ride surface is 6.2 miles of single track and 1.9 miles of forest road. The highlights include some technical riding, mud bogs, and creek crossings."
