Mo' Heinous Professional Review and Guide
"This downhill should be attempted only by riders who are either very secure in their bike-handling skills or don’t mind crashing and bleeding (I’m still carrying the scars from this one). The locals rated the entry to Mo’ Heinous a tech 4+ on a scale of 5, which should give you reason to pause right there. The initial drop-in requires total commitment; this deep, steepsided gully offers only one choice of lines and no exit except out the bottom. After the initial scare, the trail slips through some very tight and sudden switchbacks, over a number of major water bars, then starts to drop again.
The next few miles are insanely fast, down old Forest Service road doubletrack, around blind corners, and over more water bars. This ride is brutal, sick, and pounding, and will have even the most jaded of hammerheads working to unclench their brake hands and clean that wide-eyed, post-trauma look from their faces. Tread: 5.5 miles of singletrack; 2.1 miles of old Forest Service road and doubletrack; 2.6 miles of gated gravel road."
