This road follows the outer edges of Shell Stand Cove, ending high above the valley a couple of hundred feet below the summit of Cheoah Bald. The views of the Smokies are spectacular and riding along the road gives the sensation of being on top of the world. Keep an eye out for wild turkey and deer! Highlights: Great views of the Smokies, good riding surface, some loose gravel, long hills, timber cuts.
