Fred Burr Creek to Mill Creek Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This trail offers one of the few opportunities for a point-to-point hike entirely on the Montana side of the Bitterroots. The trail to Fred Burr Reservoir—which actually follows a road (FR 733) long closed to public use—offers easy walking and makes for a nice out-and-back hike by itself, while the trail between Fred Burr Reservoir and the Mill Creek Trail junction is comparatively primitive and has the added challenge of four stream crossings (wet feet likely)."
