Henry’s Lake State Park

Henry’s Lake State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Amid all the forested federal campgrounds in the Island Park region, you’d expect Henry’s Lake to be similar—but it isn’t. Henry’s Lake sits in a large, open bowl where the vegetation consists mainly of sagebrush.

This is a desert campground, not a high- mountain forest locale. That said, the lake is a highly popular boating and fishing spot and often fills with campers along its shoreline. The campground is thoroughly modernized, to the point of being one of the few to offer both Wi- Fi and electric hookup services."
