The Trilobite Range

The Trilobite Range Professional Review and Guide

"This remote trail runs along the crest of the rugged Trilobite Range for over twelve miles, linking the Schafer Meadows area with Switchback Pass. Despite its outstanding scenic value, the trail receives relatively little use and is an excellent choice for travelers seeking solitude on a long expedition. In addition to the routing discussed here, this trail can be accessed from the Dolly Varden valley via the Chair Mountain cutoff trail, as well as several routes running up from the Clack Creek Valley. The section crossing the divide between Dolly Varden and Pale Creek is extremely steep and narrow and is not recommended for horse parties."
