Morning Eagle Falls, via Hidden Falls, Grinnell Falls, and Feather Plume Falls

Morning Eagle Falls, via Hidden Falls, Grinnell Falls, and Feather Plume Falls Professional Review and Guide

"This is one of the most rewarding waterfall day hikes in Montana for its abundance of great scenery and watchable wildlife. If you complete the route described here, you can see three lakes and four waterfalls. In addition to water features, the hike offers classic views of tall peaks and deep glacial valleys, and there are good opportunities to observe moose, bear, bighorn sheep, and mountain goats.

There are many trails and junctions in the area, so finding the right route can be a bit tricky. A simpler alternative to avoid confusion is to just follow Piegan Pass Trail directly to Morning Eagle Falls. However, taking this more complex route with little extra distance allows you to visit many other amazing sights along the way, such as Swiftcurrent Lake, Lake Josephine, Hidden Falls, Grinnell Lake, and Grinnell Falls."
