"A backpack from Cut Bank Ranger Station to Morning Star Lake, 6.6 miles (10.5 km) one- way; or from Cut Bank Ranger Station to Pitamakan Pass, 9.8 miles (15.5 km) one- way.

The valley itself may be the ultimate goal of backpacking trips, and hikers interested in extended trips can connect to the Dawson-Pitamakan and Nyack Creek Trails from junctions at Pitamakan Pass and Cut Bank Pass."

trail was very well maintained a few steep parts but overall a very gorgeous hike into a alpine lake
