Weeping Wall–Mallard Loop: Two Moon Park Natural Area Professional Review and Guide
"The Weeping Wall is an 80-foot vertical sandstone wall towering above the trail system in secluded Two Moon Park. Groundwater drains year-round from the Heights above the rock wall and seeps through the sedimentary cliffs, feeding trees, bushes, and lush green moss. The water collects into a stream at the base of the wall and flows into the Yellowstone River. This hike weaves through open grassy meadows, dense wetland thickets, footbridges over clear-water streams, and canopied tunnels of trees en route to the weeping riverfront wall. The return on the Mallard Loop strolls across gently rolling meadows dotted with cottonwoods."
