"The Clark Fork of the Columbia River flows 31 0 miles from the Continental Divide near Butte, emptying into Lake Pend Oreille near the town of Clark Fork in the northern Idaho panhandle.

The Clark Fork is the largest river (by volume) in Montana, receiving water from the Little Blackfoot River, the Blackfoot River, the Bitterroot River, the Flathead River, and the Thompson River. The Clark Fork runs through the heart of Missoula, providing swimming, fishing, and boating opportunities."
