Lower Cold Lake Professional Review and Guide
"Lower Cold Lake sits just below the crest of the Mission Range on a scenic 5,745-foot shelf in the Mission Mountains Wilderness. Rugged mountains to the south and west bound the beautiful tree-lined lake. The 80-acre lake is fed by the North Fork of Cold Creek and Upper Cold Lake, residing in a mountain cirque above. This hike follows the watercourse of the North Fork of Cold Creek through a mixed forest to the Lower Cold Lake shoreline. En route, the trail crosses tributary streams and log bridges over the creek."
