Grizzly Creek Trail

Grizzly Creek Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Grizzly Creek Trail is a beautiful but seldom hiked trail with a deep wilderness atmosphere. The Grizzly Creek drainage is located southeast of Missoula adjacent to the 28,000-acre Welcome Creek Wilderness in the Sapphire Mountains, part of the Lolo National Forest. The remote creek is a tributary of Ranch Creek, which joins the tumbling waters of Rock Creek a mile down canyon. This trail begins at the base of Grizzly Point and heads into the canyon along Grizzly Creek."
