Dunham Falls

Dunham Falls Professional Review and Guide

"If you want to extend your hiking time while visiting Lodgepole Falls, this easy hike takes you to a gorgeous ravine of whitewater cascades. Bring a picnic to enjoy on the canyon rim. It’s a hike that the whole family can enjoy along a quiet forested trail.

The trail heads along a slope of open forest toward the faint sound of Dunham Creek in the canyon below. Keep left on Dunham Creek Trail at the marked intersection with Trail #374 to Nome Point. The trail skirts the ridge offering continuous views
of the drainage. Songbirds revel in this sunny slope. Tiny mountain maples and alder make up the forest understory and large Douglas firs dominate the canopy."
