Warren Park Trail

Warren Park Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This trail starts at the Garnet Ghost Town parking area and leads out to a picnic site that is more than a century old. Arriving at the historic site is like walking into a blackand-white photo. The place feels as inviting to a weary traveler as it did in 1900.

Old benches and swings blend in among the trees. An overlook provides a sweeping view of the southern Swan Mountains, as does the hike. The trail itself meanders between lands that have been logged and sections in their natural state. The park was carved out by Edward Warren, a Civil War veteran who wanted to create a place for the community to enjoy. You pass his cabin 1.0 mile down the trail."
