Paradise Valley Spring Creeks: Armstrong, DePuy, Nelson's Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"The Paradise Valley is home to three of the most prolific spring creek fisheries found in the western United States, Armstrong’s, DePuy’s, and Nelson’s. Nestled in a setting that blurs the line between pastoral and picturesque, these creeks offer phenomenal, yet technical fishing. As the creeks twist through stands of mature cottonwoods and lush pastureland, the Absaroka Mountain Range looms conspicuously in the background with a compelling beauty that steals attention even in the midst of heavily rising fish.
Types of Fish: Yellowstone Cutthroat, Brown, and Rainbow Trout, Whitefish. This fly-fishing chapter describes the "where, when, and how" for fishing in this area. It includes a full-page map and information on the known hatches, suggested equipment to use, the best flies to use, season, limits, nearby accommodations, and camping."
