East Fork Mill Creek Professional Review and Guide
"The East Fork of Mill Creek forms near Silver Pass, tumbling down from the upper reaches of Boulder Mountain at the Paradise Valley-Boulder River divide. The East Fork Mill Creek Trail stretches 12 miles eastward to Silver Pass, located on the ridge between Boulder Mountain and The Pyramid. The trail continuously follows the creek in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness, steadily passing through flower-filled meadows and limestone cliffs. Atop the divide, the trail connects with the Fourmile Creek Trail and descends to the Boulder River (Hike 90). At the lower end of the trail is a connection with the Elbow Lake Trail, the main access route to 1 1,21 2-foot Mount Cowen, the highest peak in the Absaroka Range. This hike follows the lower end of the East Fork Mill Creek Trail along the watercourse and forested canyon floor. You may turn around at any point along the creekside trail."
