The Dry Fork Divide

The Dry Fork Divide Professional Review and Guide

"This popular trail follows the flat basin of the Dry Fork of the Blackfoot River. As the name suggests, this watercourse stops flowing and dries up during midsummer. The lower portion of the trail, running to the Dry Fork Divide, is well-traveled and provides the easiest access route into the Danaher Creek valley.

The upper part of the trail is less frequently maintained and is not cleared at a sufficient width to allow the passage of pack stock. This track runs up to the headwaters of the Dry Fork, where it meets the Flint Mountain Palisades trail."
