South Fork Ross Creek Falls

South Fork Ross Creek Falls Professional Review and Guide

"Ross Creek is located near Bull Lake in the Cabinet Mountains south of Troy. The hike to South Fork Ross Creek Falls is a spectacular, yet challenging adventure for waterfall enthusiasts who don’t mind getting their feet wet and scrambling off-trail on difficult terrain.

First, you amble along a beautiful stream through ancient groves of cedar and hemlock and then come to a series of stream crossings. Bring extra footwear, and don’t attempt the fords at high water. After ascending a steep mountainside to the falls area, bushwhack into a steep gorge where water tumbles violently over the rocks."
