Graves Creek Falls

Graves Creek Falls Professional Review and Guide

"This scenic area is located between the Hungry Horse Reservoir, Jewel Basin, and Pioneer Ridge. A brief stroll takes you to a pretty cascade surrounded by lush forests. The falls are within minutes of the shores of Graves Bay. Come on a weekday to get maximum solitude at this popular location.

Follow a short path that climbs over a rise through a forest of Douglas fir , western larch, Engelmann spruce, Rocky Mountain maple, and western white pine. After only a couple
hundred feet, you come to a wooden railing with a dynamic view of Graves Creek Falls. Water descends multiple terraces of bedrock and passes around boulders and deadfall before landing in a foamy pool. Hike to the end of the trail at the edge of the rocky outcropping that forms the falls."
