Dean Falls

Dean Falls Professional Review and Guide

"The hike to Dean Falls is a great overnight backpacking trip that features much more than just a waterfall. If you’re willing to drive the 55 miles of gravel roads, this adventure will give you isolation, beautiful scenery, and a good chance to see wildlife.

Trek along the wild Spotted Bear River into the Great Bear and Bob Marshall Wildernesses to a spacious campsite at the river below the Limestone Wall. A difficult scramble on a small path leads to a nice pool at the base of Dean Falls."
