Scratchgravel Singletrack

Scratchgravel Singletrack Professional Review and Guide

"Located 6 miles north of Helena on the west end of the Helena Valley in the Scratchgravel Hills. This trail is one of the few locally that remains free of snow through much of the winter (except in heavy snow years; that's why they make skis).

It also serves as a race course each spring for local mountain bikers. There's a lot of variety in its short length, with twisty, technical sections; flat-out round with banked turns; and one hard climb to keep riders honest. Portions of this ride traverse private holdings, some of which may be posted against trespass. Please heed all posted property boundaries. Future access is uncertain."
