Early Summer - Seven Sisters Ridge

Early Summer - Seven Sisters Ridge Professional Review and Guide

"Located on Helena's West end, beginning near Kessler School on U.S. Highway 12 and climbing to Mount Helena. Outstanding early season singletrack. It's a good workout and technical challenge with views of Mount Helena's cliffs from below.

There are lots of side trails and access to the Mount Helena ridge National Recreation Trail plus a chance to see deer. From mile 0 to 1.8 this route traverses private property. During summer 1996 some trails and jeep roads in this area were posted against trespass. To date, cyclists and hikers have continued to use the trails above (south of) LeGrande Cannon Boulevard, to reach the West End Trail in Mount Helena City Park. Future access is uncertain."
