Black Forest Trail Professional Review and Guide

"Located 2 miles south of Helena on the east ridge above Squaw Gulch. This ride offers fun downhill runs along a wooded ridge, challenging climbs, views of surrounding mountains, solitude, access to other trails, and a good chance of seeing deer.

For stong riders, Black Forest Ridge-Natalie's Nightmare is a good alternative route in and out of Squaw Gulch. Future access across private land on this ridge is uncertain. Please heed all posted property boundaries."
