While the "trail" as shown here seems short you can't simply start at the trail. We started at the Two Med ranger station and gained a lot more than 126 ft of elevation. That said, the view and the moose in camp were well worth the effort as the posted picture shows. Most trails in Glacier NP are well marked and easy to follow. Trip was in Sept and it got cold overnight. Snow in the passes.
