Fun ride for the more advanced rider. Finding the road was difficult. Trail guide says to look for Squaw Creek Ranger Station sign and there isn't one. The actual road sign is for Storm Castle. After that the guide is pretty close to dead on accurate. The climb is long and steady. The first 2 miles of the trail is quite steep but very ridable. You do encounter some larger rocks for a short section that are more difficult. There are six long sweeping switchbacks on the way up to the top. The downhill is very steep in some areas. It becomes difficult to not lock up the brakes on the way down. The brakes can become quite hot since there is little time that you won't be on them. All in all it is a very nice ride, not the steepest by looks in the canyon but still one helluva work out.
