Lake Como Loop

Lake Como Loop Professional Review and Guide

"This popular recreation trail, circumnavigating a man-made lake built in 1905, follows a relatively flat but still challenging course along the shore. For those used to the ups-and-downs of most area trails, this provides a flatter track that can be tackled with relative ease.

Exposed rock outcroppings at the far end of the lake and a couple of sandy pits provide technical challenges, as do a couple of steep stream crossings. The path itself has a wider range of surfaces than most tracks discussed in this book. Intermediate riders will appreciate the chance to work on skills; for more advanced riders, two laps would make an excellent workout. Camping is available. Tread: Singletrack."
