Woody Falls Professional Review and Guide
"Woody Falls is a spectacular 1 50-foot, three-tiered falls with a pool at the base. The falls is a popular destination for the locals that is located in the heart of downtown Cooke City. Woody Creek forms on the northern slope of Ram Pasture. The creek cascades 2.5 miles west to its confluence with Republic Creek, a tributary of Soda Butte Creek. This hike begins on an old mining road that leads to the Mohawk Mine, then veers off to Woody Falls. In the winter, the trail to the falls is a cross-country ski trail."
