Silver Falls

Silver Falls Professional Review and Guide

"Silver Creek, a feeder stream of Soda Butte Creek, tumbles out of Mineral Mountain and Meridian Peak at the Yellowstone National Park boundary. Silver Falls is a long and narrow waterfall that drops more than 1 00 feet over a limestone cliff. The hike to the falls is along the eastern border of Yellowstone National Park, beginning from the town of Silver Gate. The last section of the trail climbs over rocks along Silver Creek to the base of this beautiful falls."

More Silver Falls Professional Reviews and Guides

"Silver Falls is a narrow but long waterfall with a drop of more than 100 feet. The hike to the falls is located along the eastern border of Yellowstone National Park. There is no trail to the falls. It is a scramble over and around down trees parallel to Silver Creek. The terrain is rough and not recommended for children."
