Nice hike. The fall is not visible from the trail, so not a good picture spot but a good break spot. The lake is very nice but there is no iceberg anymore, at least in october. I've done it after Grinnell Glacier so I think that's why I didn't find it outstanding...

This was one of the most beautiful hiking trails I have been on. We hit is early wnough to avoid to much haze so the surrounding mountains were stunning and the meadows covered in wild flowers. The lake was a bit crowded but not so much that we couldn't get great photos. This is a must for anyone wanting to get off the roads and see a bit of raw wilderness.

This is a beautiful hike that starts off in the Many Glaciers area. You start with a quick ascent and then is it just a slow ascent up valley to Iceberg Lake. For much of the hike you are able to get beautiful views of the valley. In addition, half way through you see Ptarmigan Falls. There are several other falls that can be seen from snowmelt on the other side of the Valley. With continuous views of the Valley, this was one of the highlights of our trip to Glacier NP and I would strongly recommend this hike.

We left at day break and had this spectacular trail to our selves It is a long trail but almost level throughout and above treeline The lake was frozen with just the stream having a bare patch of land for our lunch. Spiritual and Invigorating
