Dump Out Trail Professional Review and Guide
"Located 1 mile south of Helena on the backside of Mount Helena City Park. This is the most gradual approach to Mount Helena's upper flanks, and one of the most lightly used. Riders coming off the Mount Helena ridge National Recreation Trail 373 can descend Dump Gulch to avoid trail traffic common other Mount Helena routes. The grassy bowl at the head of Dump Gulch (mile 0) sometimes wears orange paint or a no trespassing sign. Ask permission before entering private property."
