This trail starts on the lower loop at Langhor Campground, and heads across a very nicely-made bridge over Hyalite Creek. To the left is a dirt path heading upstream which gets you to the top of that small bluff. Along the pavement, the trail splits at the start of the loop. A left turn brings you into the woods, a right along the stream shore. Various paved spurs lead to the edge of the creek. At the far end of the loop, a dirt trail continues downstream. The trail doesn't seem to be maintained, but is used often enough to keep all but the largest trees from blocking the path. The trail is completely level except for the dirt spur going upstream. I don't know why the mileage given is 2 miles; the paved part is definitely MUCH shorter, and the dirt path going downstream seems to be more of a fisherman's path than a section of the trail. If you're camping at Langhor, I would suggest this trail, but otherwise try any of the other trails in Hyalite Canyon first.
