Pow Wow Park: Alkali Creek Natural Area Professional Review and Guide
"The Alkali Creek Natural Area is a 54-acre open space and wetland known as Pow Wow Park. The city park sits in Alkali Creek Valley in the Heights, bordered by the eroding rims on the north and Alkali Creek to the south. The park has steep gorges, caves, natural springs, ponds with beaver dams, and swampy areas. Access points into the park are at the south end of Judicial Avenue, at the west end of Quiet Water Avenue, and at a trailhead by Alkali Creek Elementary School off of Alkali Creek Road. Dogs are allowed."
