Sun River Hot Springs

Sun River Hot Springs Professional Review and Guide

"A warm water pool on a private guest ranch on the eastern edge of the Bob Marshall Wilderness. In the 1920s, sulfur deposits on a ledge in a nearby cave were sold for medicinal purposes. The hot springs supply a swimming pool with 83- to 87-degree-F water. About 50 yards from the pool are the springs themselves, near the mouth of a partially collapsed cave.

A separate spring is used to run a hydroelectric generator to provide power to the guest ranch. The K Bar L is also known as the guest ranch that is “beyond all roads,” a phrase that aptly fits this self-contained resort. Developed."
