Owens Creek Falls Professional Review and Guide
"This hike travels the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail from Rocky Springs Recreation Area, rolling over hills along the Natchez Trace Parkway to end at a pair of waterfalls. The first waterfall is a tributary of Owens Creek. Leave the picnic area, joining a spur of the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail, dropping into classic pine-oak woodland. Needles and cones line the track. Ferns and cane are prominent underbrush elements. Cross a couple of small drainages and then ascend a hill. Reach the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail. Stay left, southbound. The path comes alongside private timbered lands on the park boundary, to soon bridge a stream."
