Flint Quarry Trail Professional Reviews and Guides
"Passing through the Crescent Hills, the Flint Quarry Trail is an ideal destination for hikers hoping to escape the city and enjoy the natural and cultural history of West Tyson County Park."

"The 611-acre West Tyson County Park is a perfect place to visit for hikers looking to escape the crowds found on many of the other, more popular trails in the area. The park tends to be a little overshadowed by the Route 66 State Park, which sits right next door.
It also takes on some extra traffic from the popular 7-mile Chubb Trail, which runs through a portion of the park. Hikers should be on the lookout for wildlife, including white-tailed deer and wild turkeys, as they follow the trail up and around the rocky ridge. A few brief but scenic overlooks can be captured among the forest of oak, hickory, and maple trees."
