Located just 6 miles southwest of Branson, Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery is the largest trout-rearing facility in Missouri. The hatchery produces nearly 400,000 pounds of trout each year, with almost 80 percent of those trout being released into Lake Taneycomo. Both rainbow and brown trout are raised here.
