Ozark Trail - Eleven Point Section Professional Reviews and Guides
"You’ll visit a beautiful vista over Eleven Point River on this Ozark Trail out-and-back hike. You’ll also see Eleven Point River up close and have a chance to get wet if you like. Th e Ozark Trail (OT) owes its existence to the e?orts of many volunteers who build and maintain the trail. Watch for the iconic white blazes with an interlocking OT that mark the Ozark Trail. Begin this hike on the day-use side (east) of McCormack Lake. Looking at the lake from the parking lot, you’ll see that the trail begins to the left and follows south alongside the lake. At the spillway, the path takes a left and climbs up to a junction at 0.3 mile. Stay to the right, heading southeast. Shortly, pass through some nice hardwoods and cross an old roadbed at 0.5 mile."
