Bryant's Creek Bell School Low-Water Bridge MO 95 to Norfork Lake

Bryant's Creek: Bell School Low-Water Bridge (MO 95) to Norfork Lake Professional Review and Guide

"Bryant’s Creek is a relatively untamed stream that begins north of MO 76 in Douglas County and flows approximately 40 miles to Norfork Lake. It is spring-fed but lacks the volume found on many other Missouri streams. Your chances of spying wildlife are excellent, and you can be assured of beautiful scenery.

Expect a wilderness experience on this stream flowing through the Ozark foothills, passing bluffs in one bend and farmland in the next as the watercourse swings away from the hills. The velocity of the current is relatively mild, leaving time to enjoy the many species of wildflowers and wildlife along the gently sloping riverbanks. Trappist Abbey is not on the river, but if you are in the area, it’s worth a visit to try the renowned bread baked by resident monks."
