Sinking Creek Lookout to Greer Crossing

Sinking Creek Lookout to Greer Crossing Professional Review and Guide

"This 18-mile, out-and-back section of the Ozark Trail can be made into a loop by returning to the starting point on gravel forest roads. Using the road return route results in a total distance of 30 miles. While most of the all-single-track trail is not extremely difficult, it does include a deep stream crossing, several short technical sections that may require portages, and several long climbs.

Deadfall is common along the trail. This ride is recommended for riders with intermediate skills, but it could be handled by novices with adventurous attitudes. Beginners should be prepared to portage when necessary. This trail is located 20 miles southeast of Winona."
