Big River-Washington State Park to Mammoth

Big River-Washington State Park to Mammoth Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Some dismiss the Big River as too slow, too flat, or too populated to paddle, but this section, only an hour drive from St. Louis is worth a visit.

This 6.5-mile float includes a moderate current, plenty of riffles, and fine scenery through and below Washington State Park. It also sees less motor boat traffic than lower and deeper sections."
