John J Audubon Trail

John J. Audubon Trail Professional Review and Guide

"The John J. Audubon Trail, built and maintained by the St. Louis Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, is a memorial to the naturalist and artist who lived in nearby Ste. Genevieve in the early 1800s. His namesake trail follows piney ridges, winds through quiet hollows, and wanders along clear Ozark streams."

BEAUTIFUL spring day. Missed most of the daffodils but LOTS of other wildflowers are in bloom. Walked nearly all the trails. So much variety in such a small area. River & Prairies, Woods, Rocky Hills, Bluffs, Wetlands and more. A Must do!
