Plowline Trail Cherry Hill

Plowline Trail (Cherry Hill) Professional Review and Guide

"The Plowline Trail (Cherry Hill to locals), similar to the Trout Valley trails to the north, is another great place to play on the scenic bluffs along the river. Trail conditions are excellent and there are three overlooks along the route for you to check out the incredible views of the surrounding valleys. It’s especially cool to be here when the bald eagles flock to the area in huge numbers.

After the initial climb from the trailhead, the path is generally flat to rolling as it winds through 7 miles of doubletrack along the wooded blufftop. These trails are also home to the annual Cherry Bomb mountain bike race, sponsored by the experts at Adventure Cycle and Ski in Winona. An additional 2.5 miles of singletrack have been built to the south of the main trail, so be sure to check that out while you’re there. Tread: Gravel and dirt double- and singletrack."
