Sibley State Park

Sibley State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This park is well known for its diverse terrain, with lakes, prairies, forest, and wetlands. It’s home to Mount Tom, the highest point in a 50-mile range, where there’s an observation tower with spectacular views. There are 18 miles of hiking trails and 7 miles of horse trails, and a short paved bike trail as well. The park is not far from the Glacier Lakes State Trail. Campers can fish on Lake Andrew, and canoers and kayakers have several portage route options.

Winter recreation includes the use of groomed cross- country ski and snowmobile trails, and there’s an option to skate- ski from the park office to Mount Tom. Most of the campsites are set near Lake Andrew and are connected to the park’s trails, with the remainder in a heavily treed area north of the lake. Pets are allowed."
