Blueberry Hill Campground

Blueberry Hill Campground Professional Review and Guide

"This small, primitive, walk- in campground is well known by locals for its wild blueberry–picking opportunities in the summer and hunting in the fall (take precautions if camping in the fall). The walk in is about 200 feet from the parking lot and not terribly arduous. Hiking trails are shared with horse riders. Although not frequent, bear sightings are not unheard of. The handful of campsites are quiet and private. Pets are allowed.

It’s a quick hop across the Minnesota border to Canada for a day trip to Winnipeg, and you can even access the northernmost part of the contiguous United States by visiting the Northwest Angle (access is through Canada, so you will need proof of citizenship), which doesn’t have camping, but does have a golf course."
