Zumbro Bottoms Horse Campgrounds

Zumbro Bottoms Horse Campgrounds Professional Review and Guide

"Located within R.J.D. Memorial Hardwood State Forest, this campground offers 44 miles of highly scenic trails (multiuse in some areas) spread across the 3 campgrounds that comprise Zumbro Bottoms. The forest itself has access to the Cannon, Mississippi, Root, Whitewater, and Zumbro Rivers, and extensive hiking trails throughout the forest and along the rivers.

Portable corrals are allowed but cannot be used to encircle trees, nor may horses be tied to trees. (Note: The forest is open to hunters, so take precautions if camping during hunting season.) Campsites are widely spaced and private. Pets are allowed."
