City of Wabasha Municipal Campground

City of Wabasha Municipal Campground Professional Review and Guide

"Wabasha is a gorgeous historic river town, with much of its downtown on the National Register of Historic Places. It sits on the banks of the Mississippi River, as does the campground itself. It’s also close to the National Eagle Center, which hosts programs about eagles and provides the opportunity to see eagles up close.

This is an unusual campground in that all but 2 of its campsites are only available for seasonal rentals. The remaining 2 sites, which can be rented on a daily basis, are first- come, first- served. Still, the proximity to the river and the town is of value. The sites are fairly close together, although there are trees for shade. Pets are allowed."
