Underwood Loop Professional Review and Guide
"The terrain on this loop includes almost every type of scenery found in Minnesota. You'll pedal past lakes, farm fields, forest, prairie, long ridges, small hills, tall hills, and rolling hills that resemble miniature versions of those covering the Palouse Region of eastern Washington. Besides observing this wide variety of transition landscape, you'll also see ample evidence of Scandinavian immigrants who settled in the region.
Although this loop make a beautiful rude anytime from mid-April through October, try it in early September to enjoy a blend of nature's finest colors. You'll cycle through a blend of brown wheat stubble, various shades of yellow from maturing soybeans, sparkling blue from lakes and wetlands, and multiple shades of green from the surrounding forest, with a few splashes of red and orange providing a preview of the colorful show yet to come."
