"South of Alexandria. A great hike on the prairie among the glacial kettles (lakes) and kames (hills). Mountain Lake and wildflowers on some of the most scenic prairie in the state."

This is a great trail, as most are in MN State Parks. (We sometimes think we have high taxes, but we get the benefits too.) The hike is not difficult, if you are in even borderline shape. I did this hike with my 14 year old. She''s a water freak so the views of lakes made this a good hike for her. We packed a lunch and did the hike at our own pace. It was a great day. Enjoy!
