Riverside Park and Municipal Campground

Riverside Park and Municipal Campground Professional Review and Guide

"The city of Saint Peter is a beautiful, historic river town that provides an unusually attractive backdrop for this city campground. Its proximity to the Minnesota River makes for good fishing (walleye and catfish) and canoeing. For youth under 16 and senior citizens, there’s a special 2-acre fishing pond.

The park contains hiking and biking trails that lead along the river and out of the park. The campsites are nicely spaced for privacy, with trees providing shade. (Note: Campers must register with the Saint Peter Police Department before camping, which is between both Front Street park entrances.) Pets are allowed."
